Nestled in the pine forest of Šibenik's Dubrava, just a few kilometres from the city, lies this unique centre where you have the opportunity to experience various species of birds of prey up close: falcons, hawks, and owls. Emilio Menđušić, the centre's manager, is the person responsible for the founding and survival of this place, which is not just a tourist attraction but also a hospital for birds of prey that are returned to the wild after recovery. The centre also houses a laboratory, a DNA bank for birds of prey, and a feather bank where every shed feather is permanently stored.
