The trail is easy, well-marked, and ideal for recreational hikers, families with children, and school trips, offering an opportunity to explore Šibenik from an elevated perspective. It is designed with a total of seven checkpoints, including the historic St. John and Šubićevac (Barone) fortresses, the Šubićevac viewpoint with its view of the Šibenik Bay and St. Anthony's Channel, and the Orlovača peak on Trtar hill, which overlooks the hinterland and the wind farm.

An optional stop is the Dubrava Falconry Center, a renowned center for the protection of birds of prey, making it the perfect place to conclude this eco-educational route. This trail offers a perfect plan for morning recreation, and after hiking through history and pine shade, a logical continuation of the day is heading back down to the city for lunch and a visit to one of the nearby beaches for a refreshing swim.
A special reason to visit: This trail is unique because it provides a one-of-a-kind combination of historical and natural exploration of Šibenik.
