The "Ante Frua" hiking and ecological trail is one of the most interesting walking routes in the vicinity of Šibenik. Named after Ante Frua, the trail was designed by the Kamenar Mountaineering Society and students from the Petar Krešimir IV Elementary School as a blend of hiking, ecology, and outdoor learning.

The route connects seven checkpoints, six of which are mandatory and one optional. It begins at St. John's Fortress, leads to Barone Fortress and the Šubićevac viewpoint, then crosses the pass between Jamnjak and Kamenar toward the Ćićo mountain hut and the Orlovača peak on Trtar. The Falconry Center in Dubrava is included as an optional stop.

The trail passes through the Gvozdenovo–Kamenar protected landscape, an area rich in Mediterranean vegetation, forest tracts, and views overlooking Šibenik, the Šibenik Bay, and the surrounding countryside. At certain points along the trail, visitors will find particularly beautiful viewpoints that add extra value to the hike.
