The story behind how this place got its name is incredibly interesting. The world-famous surfing destination of Viganj is located on the Pelješac peninsula, where Šibenik-based fans of the sport frequently traveled; out of their love for that place, they named their own spot Mali Viganj. It experiences similar winds and geographically resembles this Croatian capital of sailing.
