MARE Yachting operates as one of the largest catamaran charter bases in Croatia. Our location in Marina Mandalina in Šibenik places the company at the heart of one of Europe's most significant sailing regions, the Kornati Islands, home to over 150 islands. Our goal is to provide a high-quality vacation on the water. Our experienced team provides comprehensive support for your yachting holiday.

The MARE Yachting team handles daily operations related to both vessels and clients. Our team members possess a combined 130 years of experience in the nautical and tourism sectors, enabling us to resolve a wide range of challenges. We place a strong emphasis on competence and reliability.

The company employs 11 staff members, with a priority on service quality. Clients have access to local German-speaking contacts who, together with our team, provide personalized support.

MARE Yachting enjoys a significant number of repeat clients who return annually, which serves as a testament to our service quality. Some of these clients have become vessel owners and have remained connected to the company. MARE Yachting strives to build a strong community based on shared values and the principles of sustainable and fair business practices.

Nicole Horney and Axel Oppermann are the owners of MARE Yachting. They acquired the company in 2020 and relocated from Germany to Croatia. Since then, they have been based in Šibenik year-round.

Before MARE Yachting, Axel Oppermann worked as a geologist, managing an engineering firm and participating in international raw materials research. He is a passionate sailor with experience in various nautical destinations, including an Atlantic crossing. He has been associated with MARE Yachting for over 15 years through his own vessels.
