Near the museum is the Krčić waterfall, a geomorphological natural monument where the water flows into the source of the Krka River. The city area also includes part of the Dinara Nature Park, home to the highest peak in the Republic of Croatia. Additionally, the area encompasses the Biskupija archaeological site and hydrographic attractions such as the Burum and Šareni lakes.
