Charlie design was founded in 1987. The brand is characterized by monochromatism, minimalism with a slight avant-garde twist, deconstructive elements, and the wearability of its finished pieces. Designer Loredana Bahorić transforms sculptural forms into clothing suitable for everyday wear, balancing between artistic design and prêt-à-porter.

The team consists of nine people and a number of external collaborators. Alongside designer Loredana Bahorić, the team includes brand manager Branko Bahorić and Tomislav Bahorić, who runs the men's line, Spirit by T.B., in parallel. Charlie design boutiques are located in Zagreb and Šibenik, and the clothing is also sold in concept stores throughout Croatia and abroad.
