Simon Čivljak Jewelry is a family business established in 1965 in Šibenik. The business was run by Simon Čivljak, and his son, Ljazer Čivljak, continues the work today. The goldsmithing craft has been passed down from generation to generation for four generations.

In 2007, the Croatian National Tourist Board named the "Šibenik button," crafted by filigree artist Ljazer Čivljak, the best souvenir. Today, the Šibenik button is an integral part of the traditional costumes worn by Šibenik klapa groups.
