St. Michael's Fortress is located on a cliff overlooking the old town center of Šibenik. The amphitheater-style auditorium offers 1,077 seats, while concerts with standing room can accommodate a significantly larger number of visitors.

The open-air stage offers views of the Šibenik archipelago, St. Anthony's Channel, and the mouth of the Krka River. Every summer season, it hosts local and international musical performers, theatrical plays, festivals, and opera performances.
