The coastline offers a truly spectacular experience for everyone arriving in Šibenik by boat. On the left side of the channel, the former Yugoslav People's Army built a complex of military facilities, including a barracks at Minerska Beach, warehouses, and docks with supporting infrastructure. Consequently, this location remained unknown even to the residents of Šibenik until about twenty years ago, as access to the complex was strictly prohibited.
