Banj Beach is a public pebble beach in the Crnica district of Šibenik, a 10-minute walk from St. Michael's Fortress. It opened in June 2012 on a former industrial site along the coast.

Banj Beach opened in 2012 in the formerly industrial Crnica district of Šibenik and was welcomed with enthusiasm by both locals and tourists. With the opening of Banj, Šibenik turned back to the sea and revitalized the northwestern approach to the historic city center.

Banj Beach

The fine pebbles make the beach comfortable for lounging and sunbathing, but the main draw of Banj is undoubtedly the spectacular view of the old town, the fortresses, and the Cathedral, which makes this beach stand out in Croatia and beyond. In addition, Banj offers numerous amenities, such as a children's playground, outdoor exercise equipment, bars and restaurants, showers, and a seaside promenade.
