The story of Teresa, a Chilean widow who arrives in an isolated shepherd community on the Dinara mountain at the beginning of the 20th century, blends historical drama, mystery, and occult elements into an original Balkan take on the Western—a sort of "Eastern."

Variety called it a "smoldering" historical drama, while Screen Daily noted that this intense production "revels in its secrets." In addition to Manuela Martelli and Ana Marija Veselčić, the film stars Filip Đurić, Mauro Ercegović Gracin, and Nikša Butijer.
