Lake Prokljan is the largest natural lake along the course of the Krka River. Because its waters mix with the sea, it is rich in various types of fish and shellfish, keeping the village's fishing traditions very much alive today. Raslina is located in the immediate vicinity of Krka National Park, making it an ideal example of life in harmony with the beauty of untouched nature. Along with the Krka, the Guduča River also flows into the lake near Raslina, creating an area that serves as a rich and valuable ornithological site.

The history of this area dates back to ancient times, as evidenced by the remains of the ancient church of St. Stephen on the mystical islet of Stipanac—known to locals as Gavan's Courts—which holds a fascinating legend. The area is a favorite among active travelers, offering everything from kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding to hiking, which often ends at the magnificent Križovača viewpoint, or cycling along an excellent bike route. In addition to its traditional swimming marathon, Raslina hosts various sporting events and festivals, such as the Prukljanski Gušti, trekking routes, and the well-known Dalmatia Šibenik Outdoor Adventure.
