Why visit
The only free bus that goes directly to Skradinski Buk departs from here, and you can also find local prosciutto and cheese right at the park entrance.
Right at the entrance to Krka National Park, one of Croatia's most beautiful nature reserves with breathtaking waterfalls, lies Lozovac, a small village located about 15 kilometers from Šibenik.

Every season tells its own story and paints the local landscape in new colors, leaving every visitor in awe. Krka National Park is not just a destination; it is an experience that changes depending on when you visit: in spring, the waterfalls are surrounded by lush greenery; in summer, they bask under the Mediterranean sun; and in autumn, they are colored in breathtaking warm tones.

Krka National Park

One of the entrances to the Park leads through Lozovac, a small village that offers a reason to stop in its own right. After exploring the park and its extraordinary beauty, it has become a tradition to visit local households and enjoy the authentic specialties of the Šibenik region. Some of these local delicacies include prosciutto and cheese, spit-roasted lamb, and, of course, homemade wine and olive oil. In Lozovac, you don't leave the Park all at once; you let it go slowly, bite by bite, at a table that smells of home-cooked, genuine food.
