Why visit
The 15th-century Andreis Castle, with its two preserved towers, is situated in the middle of the lively village along the bay that still supports shellfish farmers today.
Located about ten kilometers from Šibenik, the village of Jadrtovac is nestled in the picturesque Morinje Bay. Due to its unique position and the mixing of brackish water and the sea, it is known as a natural fish spawning ground and an ideal area for farming various types of shellfish.

The village is also widely known for its healing mud, and as the locals say, tourists from all over the world come here in droves for a natural wellness experience, even without any marketing.

Jadrtovac

The fact that the Morinje Bay area, where Jadrtovac is located, has been suitable for life for centuries is evidenced by the remains of an early Christian church, Renaissance castles, as well as a Baroque altar and a 16th-century tower.
