On your first day in Šibenik, you can do everything we suggested for visitors with only one day to spare – visit the cathedral, stroll through the historic center, and climb up to St. Michael's Fortress.
If you plan to visit all three land-based fortresses on your first day, or spread them out over two days, we suggest buying a combined ticket for all three at your first stop to save money. Or even better – on the website https://www.sibenikcard.hr/ purchase the Šibenik card – individual or family – to get free entry not only to the fortresses but also to numerous cultural attractions, along with great discounts.

If you would also like to visit the fourth fortress – St. Nicholas, which is also Šibenik's second UNESCO monument, it is currently only possible to reach it by sea from April to October via a boat departing from the Šibenik waterfront, with the entire trip lasting just over 2 hours. Those who have already purchased the Šibenik card get a 20% discount on the ticket price. You can also reach the fortress by land, though without the option to enter, via the beautifully landscaped St. Anthony's Channel promenade. It features several rest areas, a stunning viewpoint, sea tunnels, the small Church of St. Anthony the Hermit tucked into a cave, a range of recreational facilities, and a visitor center. It is a great opportunity to experience Šibenik from a different perspective.

However, if you would prefer to visit the Šibenik islands instead of a fortress, Zlarin and Prvić are close by and easily accessible from the Šibenik port, or perhaps Krapanj, which you can reach by boat from Brodarica, just a few kilometers away.

For the third day, we suggest visiting Krka National Park. You can reach it by one of the excursion boats from the Šibenik waterfront, via the entrance on the Skradin side, or at the Lozovac land entrance, located just a 20-minute drive from the city. A visit to Krka can be a half-day trip if you are touring the seventh waterfall, Skradinski buk, but if you would like to stay longer, it is a great idea to continue by boat upstream to the islet of Visovac and Roški slap waterfall. Holders of the Šibenik Card receive a 20% discount on tickets to Krka National Park at all land entrances.
