Obonjan is an uninhabited 56-hectare island in the Šibenik archipelago, 8 km from the mainland. Until 1990, it was the Island of Youth — a youth camp for the Scout Association of Yugoslavia. Since 2016, it has operated as Obonjan Island Resort, a car-free glamping destination.

The Scout Association of Croatia took over the neglected island in 1971 and launched volunteer work projects. Young people from all over Yugoslavia built bungalows, a canteen, an amphitheater, and a saltwater swimming pool; tens of thousands of young people stayed there annually during summer shifts. The island was abandoned at the beginning of the Croatian War of Independence; the City of Šibenik took ownership in 2007.

The resort offers three categories of accommodation: Island Homes, Glamping Lodges, and O-Tents — a total of 232 units for 2–4 people. The island features 2 restaurants, 3 bars, a pizzeria, a saltwater swimming pool, medical services, and Wi-Fi. Three coves with sandy and pebbly bottoms are accessible only to resort guests.

Access only by: the Zvjezdica charter boat from the ferry terminal in Šibenik, three times a day during the season (~1 hour ride), or by private boat (20 minutes). Season: June – September.
