This viewpoint is distinguished by the monument to Petar Svačić, erected in 2002 to mark the 900th anniversary of his death. According to local legend, King Svačić was born in the nearby town of Kamičak, a fortress built above a cliff in the Miljevci region. The monument, created by academic sculptor Kažimir Hraste, depicts the king with a sword and shield, facing the island of Visovac—a symbol of faith and resilience in this region.
Winding paths lead down from the viewpoint to Stinice, the main pier for boats carrying visitors and pilgrims to the island. Visovac, also known as the "white rock," has been home to a Franciscan monastery since the 15th century. This area marks the beginning of the middle course of the Krka River, characterized by a gentler flow and a unique microclimate that supports lush vegetation.
In the immediate vicinity of the viewpoint lies a centuries-old forest of downy oak and oriental hornbeam, through which the Stinice – Roški Slap – Oziđana Pećina educational hiking trail passes. Visitors can also stop by the Visovac House "Kuželj" visitor center, which provides further information on the park's natural treasures. The viewpoint is an ideal spot for a short break to take in the open landscape before continuing on to the island or exploring the nearby hiking trails.
